ABSTRACT
This study aims to introduce a method for better configuration of delivery area so as to increase the delivery efficiency at lower cost. Key delivery performance indicators are introduced. Objectives and expected outputs of Delivery Area Optimization and Management (DAOM) are analysed. Then the paper goes in detail to the four main steps of DAOM. Successful implementation of this process and usage of effective tools for ongoing management would bring benefits to corporate with respect to service quality and competitiveness.
