ABSTRACT
When using DEA method to evaluate the innovation efficiency of High- tech industry, the traditional approach takes it as a "black box", regardless of the internal sub-processes and their influences on the overall system efficiency. This study decomposed the high- tech industrial innovation system into two interrelated chain stages and calculated the overall efficiency and sub-stage efficiencies based on the two-stage relational DEA model under constant return to scale. Furthermore, this study measured correlation degree in high- tech industrial innovation system and classified high-tech industries into four types.
