In today's climate of a grosly misinformed, fear-driven society, it would have been pruden to preface the conclusion with a comment such as:
At continuous exposure to very high ELF magnetic field intensities (1mT or 10G at 50Hz) it was concluded that....
The fear-mongers in the media will cease on a conclusion as given without citing the relevant background condiitons.
ARPANSA in ASutralia cites 100microTesla (0.1mT) as a protective limit for public exposure - any tests at ten times that limit need to be correspondingly annotated.
