Abstract: Background and Objective: Palm oil sludge (POS) can potentially be used as poultry feed after being fermented with Neurospora crassa. An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of palm oil sludge fermented (POSF) with Neurospora crassa in broiler diets. Materials and Methods: One hundred and twenty 1-day-old broiler chicks (DOC) were used in this study. The diet was formulated based on equal amounts of energy and protein, which were 3000 kcal kg–1 and 22%, respectively. The experiment used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments were arranged as follows: (1) 0% POSF, (2) 13% POSF, (3) 16% POSF, (4) 19% POSF and (5) 22% POSF in the broiler rations. Parameters measured were feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, body weight and carcass weight of the broilers. Results: Feed consumption, body weight gain, feed conversion, body weight and carcass weight were not significantly affected (p>0.05). Conclusion: Palm oil sludge (POSF) fermented with Neurospora crassa can be used up to 22% in broiler rations.
