Abstract: The aim of this study was to elaborate a technical textile by coating fabric surface by a conducting polymer, polyanizidine PANIZ at variable experimental conditions. Cotton fabric was impregnated successively in anizidine solution and in ammonium persulfate solution. Three parameters were varied: temperature, duration and number of impregnation. This study shows that conductivity depends on experimental conditions. The best result was 0.03356 Scm-1 and obtained for samples treated three times. A correlation is established between the conductivity, the weight of incorporated PANIZ and the color yield (K/S). This modified textile can be used for antistatic applications and can also be used as a fireproof textile, in fact speed flame spread decrease four times when coating textile with PANIZ.
