ABSTRACT
A pterocarpan, natural dihydrofolinin, was isolated from the roots of Erythrina variegata and its structure was established on the basis of spectroscopic evidence. Two known compounds, the pterocarpan erythrabyssin II and the alkyl ester of ferulic acid, octacosyl ferulate, were also isolated.
