Cover Letter

A letter must accompany the manuscript, and it must contain the following elements. Please provide these elements in the order listed as

•	Manuscript title
•	Name of the corresponding author
•	Names of all other co-authors
•	Type of manuscript (Letter, Article, Invited Feature Article, Invited Perspective, Comment (includes replies to Comments), and Additions/Corrections).
•	A paragraph explaining why your manuscript is appropriate for Research Journal of Environmental Toxicology
•	If the manuscript was previously submitted to Research Journal of Environmental Toxicology, provide the manuscript number of the submitted manuscript and a detailed response to each reviewer’s comments
•	If the manuscript was previously submitted to any other journal; author should provide the name of the journal, the manuscript number, an explanation of the basis for the rejection, and a statement granting Research Journal of Environmental Toxicology permission to obtain the editor’s decision letter and reviews for the rejected manuscript. Also indicate if the newly submitted manuscript has been revised based on the previous reviews. If so, provide a detailed response to each reviewer’s comments.
•	The names and contact information, including e-mail addresses, of six possible reviewers
•	A statement confirming the manuscript, or its contents in some other form, has not been published previously by any of the authors and/or is not under consideration for publication in another journal at the time of submission
