society is imperative. In determing the trace element that could be toxic, three
different organs (liver, kidney and lung) of cows were carefully selected and
analyzed for the quantification of essential trace element, Cr and potentially
toxic trace elements, Pb and Co. Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) was
used for the analysis. The results showed that the concentrations of these elements
were relatively high with highest being recorded in the liver. The concentration
has been attributed to the source of food of the animals and other environmental
factors.]]>Cartwright, W.,19782nd Edn.,Engel, R.W., N.O. Price and R.F. Miller,1967Vol. 92,pp: 197pp: 197Underwood, E.J.,19774th Edn.,Pages: 545Pages: 545Gormican, A.,197056397403Hamilton, P.,1979Schroeder, H.A.,196821230244Wood, E.J.U.,19712nd Edn.,Kehoe, R. and M. Storey,19791st Edn.,pp: 63pp: 63
