This study tries to point out health status of urban pregnant women of Bangladesh with respect to weight gained during pregnant period and Body Mass Index (BMI) of pregnant women. The analysis shows that health status of study population is satisfactory in context of Bangladesh though lag behind compared to neighbour country like India and other developed countries.
