and Laboratory Evaluation against Planococcus citri (Risso)]]>HusseinRana H.M. EzzatS.M. NabilH.A. 62014116Studies were carried out in Plant Protection Research Institute, Sharkia branch
during 2012-2013 years to determine the effects of different temperatures (10,
15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40°C), pH values (2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12) and incubation
periods (2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 14 day) on Isaria fumosorosea Wize mycelial
growth rates as a biological control agent of Planococcus citri (Risso).
The toxicity of I. fumosorosea spores suspension on citrus mealybug, P.
citri under laboratory conditions was studied. The optimal environmental conditions
for the mycelial growth rate of I. fumosorosea were obtained at 25°C,
in pH 5.8, for 7 days incubation period. The LC50 value was 5x106
spores mL-1 and LC90 was 4x1013 spores
mL-1.]]>Abd-Elsalam, K.A., I.N. Aly, M.A. Abdel-Satar, M.S. Khalil and J.A. Verreet,2003Fusarium genus based on nuclear ribosomal-DNA sequence data.]]>28285Altre, J.A., J.D. Vandenberg and F.A.
