The proposed method estimates the voltages at the unmonitored buses by using the regression coefficients. First some bus voltages were monitored using power quality recorders in the power distribution system. Then, the voltage deviation index and the standard deviation index, represent the deviation of bus voltages before and after a disturbance were utilized to determine the voltage sag source location. To validate the proposed method, the IEEE 9 bus test system was used.
