the well-being framework is introduced. The new framework and optimization
method are respectively based on fuzzy and genetic. The probability of
being in the risk state and the probability of being in the healthy state
constraints are considered as soft limits in the proposed framework. Genetic
Algorithm (GA) is used for solving fuzzy well-being Unit Commitment Problem
(UCP). Using total operating cost of generating units plus a penalty function
which is determined by the fuzzy risk and healthy probabilities, a fitness
function is determined. The proposed method has been applied to the IEEE
