Searching for axioms of the constitutive theory, especially objectivity and material symmetry axioms and constitutive functional, based on concepts related with the symmetry group of a material, findings pertaining to the theory of invariants have been used as a routine method for material determination of stress potential arguments. As a result, constitutive equation pertaining to the stress has been obtained in both material and spatial coordinates. The constitutive equation obtained can predict the mechanical behaviour of fiber reinforced rubber like materials. As an application, a Money-Rivlin type hyperelastic material has been examined under a suitable geometry and load conditions using ANSYS finite elements software. The hyperelastic material was then reinforced using steel fibers in axial directions and resolved.
