It summarizes the tile library creation principle and describes the flexible characteristic of tiles according to the categories of intersections and segments. Furthermore, choosing SketchUp and 3Dmax as modeling tools, the road scene modeling method of BJTUDS is illustrated from aspects of terrain, road, material and environment. The paper finally concludes urban road network modeling process.
