advanced lines/cultivars of pea were tested for yield and resistance against
powdery mildew under natural conditions of infection. All the lines were
found to be resistant while the local cultivars (Climax and PF-400) proved
highly susceptible. Significant differences were observed between the
yield of local cultivars and those of the advanced lines. Advanced lines
out yielded local cultivars. However, the lines 91-1, 91-3 and 91-2 were
outstanding with yields of 22.9, 21.6 and 19.6 tones ha-1 respectively.]]>Anonymous,2000pp: 11-12pp: 11-12Gritton, E.T. and R.D. Ebert,19751975Iqbal, S.M., M. Zulkiffal, C.A. Rauf and T.
