Abstract: The study was aimed to analyze the concentration of lead in blood samples of 60 randomly selected children aged between 7-14 years from different auto-workshops of Peshawar. The results revealed that a large proportion of the children had high level of lead ranging from 8.2 to 68.5 μg dL‾1 with mean 38.203. This attempt disclosed the health risks including loss in memory, anemia and body pain, rising of threshold of hearing and general weakness related to child labour.
