Abstract: The field trial was conducted to determine the effect of NP doses on the overall performance of canola at Student’s Experimental Farm, Sindh Agriculture University Tandojam, Pakistan. Two varieties (Shirallee and Wester) and six NP levels (Control, 56-28, 84-42, 112-56, 140-70 and 164-84 kg NP ha–1) were tested. The results revealed that branches, siliqua number, seeds in siliqua, seed index and seed yield were significantly affected by varieties and fertilizer doses and also all the traits increased significantly with the increasing NP levels. Variety Shirallee proved high yielding as compared to Wester. The application of 164-84 and 140-70 kg NP ha–1 produced maximum seed yield than rest of the NP doses.
