dear sir,
I'm a master student from egypt, biotechnology department, institute of graduate studies and research, alexandria,i succeeded to isolate marine pseudomonas aeruginosa producing pyocianin and pyorubrin, but i used pigment production media at 28 degree temprature a nd 48 hour incubation,i wish to know if you obtained the blue green pyocyanin at the same cultural conditions as to obtain the brown red pyorubrin???it was different in my case,,on the other hand ,,did you try acetone precipitation and coloum chromatography to purify the product??if you are willing to share information and discuss it with me please e mail .best of luck in your research.thanks, bye

Dear amany in case of pseudomonas there are number of other pigments produced. so you cant say that it is pyorubin and the other case is pyocyanin turns red in acidic condition at pH< 4.9.
you need to first extract bothn in crude form then you can say there are two pigments
