I am trying to get a building permit to build with this material where I live and need to show that my cob fits into this moisture content, and perhaps plasticity. When and how did you measure the moisture content? After mixing the sand, clay and straw? Any help in how I can adequately demonstrate that my material falls into an acceptable range as a building material would be most appreciated.
