ABSTRACT

This paper proposes a new algorithm for the automatic under voltage load shedding operation of the radial grid to secure the static stability over the bus voltage change in a complex power system. The algorithm is developed on the basis of voltage stability index, comprising, explicitly, grid’s operational parameters and accounting for the regulating effects of reactive and active power components over voltage change.
