ABSTRACT
The result suggested that the fresh weights of the root tips decrease with increasing germination time at 25°C. The respiration rate decreases with increasing germination time and the pattern was very similarly in both quartiles. Waterlogging treatment showed large reductions on root growth and their fresh and dry weights. Waterlogging treatment of 12 h or more caused greater reductions in respiratory activities.
