We encourage users of ASCI Database to suggest additional sources to be added to ASCI Database. The submission procedure is to ensure the request falls within the journal coverage policy.

A journal must qualify on two levels, both the scientific quality of the publication, and the technical quality of the digital files.
Scientific Quality
After a review of the journal information and the recommendation of Content Selection Committee, ASCI Database will inform the publisher whether or not the journal meets ASCI Database scientific quality standard. For journals that meet this standard will ask for the XML file of the complete issue to continue the next step.
Technical Quality of the Digital File
The publisher submits a representative set of sample XML files with XML DTD information, which are evaluated to ensure that the journal's data meets minimum ASCI technical quality standards.
A sample XML file is available to view the XML tagging style of ASCI Database.
If the sample file successfully goes through the evaluation process, the contents will be available in ASCI Database immediately and will be searchable for the global scientific community.
ASCI Database will also notify to the Publisher about the inclusion of the journal in ASCI Database. |
