  The experiment was conducted at Z.A. Bhutto Agricultural College, Dokri Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan in experimental design of RCBD, replicated four times in net plot size of 3m x 5m, where 74078-1, ICPL-4, Local check, ICPL-2, ICPL-6, ICPL-84, T-21, ICPL-150 pigeonpea varieties/lines were planted for growth and yield potentials. Among the tested cultivars ICPL-6 was observed as dwarf and appeared to be superior one by recording maximum branches, having early maturity, and attempted maximum number of pods and seed index. ICPL-6 also proved itself as high yielding pigeonpea cultivar by recording 2166.70kg grain yield-ha. Thus, it is recommended the ICPL-6 pigeonpea cultivar should be grown for early maturity and high potential yield.

  Alternaria brassicae (Berk. Sacc). was isolated from the leaves of cabbage and were identified on the colony characteristics and morphology of conidia. Four fungicides: Dithane M-45, Topsin-M, Liromanzeb, and Vitigran blue were applied. Vitigran blue significantly inhibited the colony growth of Alternaria brassicae followed by Dithane M-45. The number of leaf spots on inocculated leaves were reduced by spraying Vitgran blue followed by Dithane M-45. It is recommended that leaf spots can be controlled by pre-application of both Vitgran blue and Dithane M-45 fungicides.

  The experiment was conducted in randomized complete block design with four replications treatments comprised one variety BL-4 to determine the effect processed green fertilizer on the quality of sugarcane. Maximum germination percentage (58.5), plant height as 3.1 meters, highest number of internodes (27.25), maximum girth of cane (2.5) cm was obtained from 275 + 112 + 180 kg/ha NPK+30bages of green fertilizer combimation.

  A field experiment was conducted in Randomized Complete Block Design with six replication on rice variety DR-82 at Agriculture Research Institute Dokri. It is clear that best result of paddy grain yield 11.05 kg/plot, 5525 kg/ha depicted T2 (Transplanting with green manuring with fertilizer rate 90-60-0 kg/ha). Where as lowest yield was obtained in T4 (Transplanting without fertilizer and green manuring).

  The experiment was conducted to see the influence of green manure on the growth of rice variety DR-82, at Agriculture Research Institute Dokri, Four treatments were tried in six replicated randomized complete design. The best result for plant height (cm) and number of tillers / plant recorded under T2 (green manuring with fertilizer rate 90-60 NP kg/ha). Where as maximum panicle length (cm) were indicated in T3 (Transplanting with fertilizer rate 135-67 NP kg/ha) only. All the minimum results were depicted in T4 (control).
