  In this study, the marine ecosystem polluted by a huge amount of oil spills, industries outlet wastages to rivers, lakes and those toxic evaporation polluting sea living organisms like penguins, birds, mammals, etc., even air polluting marine ecosystem by carrying lot of dusts from industries which outlets burned gases in open atmosphere. Most ships offshore may sink sometime with a load of oil or leakage happens on the sea, these spreads oil surrounding environment of sea and shores where animals get affected due to oil coated with furs and cause liver or lung damage, poison, die within 2 days. Oil spilling not only affected marine ecosystem animal but it also evaporates toxic gas in open atmosphere which is inhaled by human beings, cause liver, respiratory diseases. Land junks, plastic wastes, ship wastages are all thrown in seas to make them more polluted which leads to the toxic environment where no one will survive the environment is completely out of hands.

  In this study, a novel architectural model is to compute the fuel reduction and emission reduction based on energy storage device, an efficiency of engine and consumption of fuel oil. The main objective of this study is to reduce the fuel consumption of maritime power plants. Fuel oil utilization which is used for the numerical solution and optimized KKT method. In the proposed method is to reduce the computational time using linear interpolation. To increase the fuel savings and to reduce the emission by discharging and charging the ESD. In this optimization of fuel consumption method is used for marine applications.

  Air pollution is one of the major problem in the present world. In this study, we will discuss about the design and fabrication of the charcoal silencer which is fitted to the exhaust pipe of engine and another advanced design of emission control silencer. The charcoal silencer controls both air pollution and sound pollution. The small size of wet charcoal is placed between the honeycomb shape filters and by using this charcoal silencer sound also reduced. The charcoal silencer tested in the laboratory and its smoke level and noise levels are compared with the ordinary silencer.

  The marine air-conditioning is important equipment on board the ship. It created the comfortable and cosy surrounding for the crew in the working time and daily lives. The fresh air for the air condition system is essential to keep the crew watchful during the watch-keeping. What is more, the condition outside of the marine vessel is diverse, the self-adjustability of the marine air conditioning is not swift. Meanwhile, the air-conditioning unit is the main energy consumption. The reasonable operation of the marine air-conditioning can be energy-saving. The parameters of temperature and the carbon dioxide concentration in the air-conditioning room are the key factors for the air-conditioning control. Under the condition that the unit of the marine air conditioning is not altered, the fuzzy control method is applied to adjust the temperature and the carbon dioxide concentration in the air conditioned space. The fuzzy controller is designed and the program is written in this study. In this way, the comfort index is high and the energy is conserved. Compared with the general control method PID, the fuzzy control without the mathematical model is simple and precise. Taking the temperature difference, the difference variety ratio and the carbon dioxide concentration as the control parameters, the marine air-conditioning can create a cozy and comfortable space for the crew on board the ship.
