  In Software Engineering (SE), team plays an important role in determining the project success. To ensure the optimal outcome of the project the team is working on, it is essential to ensure that the team members are assigned to the right team role. One of the prevalent team roles is Belbin team role. This role theory is centered on the team roles and how they should be matched in order to avoid conflicts and build sound teams that are optimally managed. Therefore, this study is aims to propose a software team formation method based on Belbin team role. In order to realize it, fuzzy technique will be chosen because it allows analyzing of imprecise data and classifying selected criteria. The method will be designed to form a balance of software development team. It is hoped that the proposed method can serve as a useful tool for managers when assigning new team members to a software project.

  Software development depends, to a large extent on good team work and level of cooperation among software team members. As a creative technical process, software development requires interaction among human experts in form of a team. Thus, it is imperative to know the factors that are capable of influencing teamwork performance. Among such factors are coordination of expertise, cohesion, communication, mutual support, value diversity, trust and socialization Team Work Quality (TWQ) Model. This study proposes a conceptual framework of TWQ Model which focuses on examining the team work quality criteria within software development teams that have significant influence on the performance of the team. This study uses questionnaire to investigate the impacts of the above factors on team performance. The respondents are software developers from telecommunication industry in Iraq and Kurdistan Region Government (KRG). The analysis of the data will be conducted with the use Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine relationship significance of the identified factors on software development team performance. The proposed framework will be helpful for analyzing the relationship between teamwork quality factors and team performance. It is also, expected the model is considered useful to gain a deeper understanding on factors that influence teamwork performance and also validate the implemented extension of team work model in consistence with earlier work in order to improve positively team performance.

  Topics related to recent advances in persuasive technology have been of great interest in many areas of computational technologies. Persuasive technology focuses on how to change the attitudes or behavior of users. Nowadays, persuasive strategies are gradually integrated into the design of software. However, the key strategies for the integration are still unclear while few categorizations or frameworks have been proposed. This study describes an extensive review upon the key question on how persuasive systems should be designed in ensuring that the system interacts with individual users in changing their behaviors. The main aim of this study is to identify the key persuasive strategies for mobile healthcare systems. It argues the existing related researches that portray how the persuasive strategies are integrated with the system development. To this end, it indicates that a set of guidelines for the adoption and implementation of persuasive strategies in mobile healthcare is highly needed.

  Promoting knowledge sharing among students using Pair Programming (PP) is the main focus of this study. PP that pairs a driver and a navigator is expected to improve student’s social skills to work creatively and innovatively in resolving difficulties in programming. Based on that this study employs PP in advancing the programming skills among students of higher learning institutions. Beyond PP, this study integrates the solution with Socialization, Externalization, Combination and Internalization (SECI) Model. The main objective is to investigate the relationships between each of the four stages in SECI Model and code quality. A group of students were paired and assigned a task. Several benefits of PP have been discovered based on performance statistic. Obviously, the code quality is improved as a result of knowledge sharing, transfer process and communication between the pair. In the end, it is found that externalization has no significant relationship with code quality as opposed to the others. Meanwhile, internalization is the most influential stage.

  IT governance in organizations plays strategic roles in deciding on whether IT strategies and investments is both private and public organizations could be efficient, consistent and transparent. IT governance is potential to be the best practice that could improve organizational performance and competency. In conjunction to that this study is carried out to determine the factors influencing the implementation of IT governance in public sector. The study involves qualitative and quantitative approaches where data were collected through questionnaire, observation, interview and document study through a sample of 367 respondents. The collected data were analyzed using Structured Equation Modeling (SEM) for validating the model and testing the hypotheses. Besides, semi-structured interview, observation and document study were also carried out to obtain the management’s feedback on the implementation of IT governance and its activities. The findings reveal that policy has a significant direct influence on system planning, the management of IT investment, system realization, operation and maintenance and organizational culture. Besides, monitoring and evaluation process also significantly affects the system planning, the management of IT investment, system realization, operation and maintenance and organizational culture.

  This study reports an ongoing project that determines the information accessibility in electronic learning Contents (e-Contents) among Hearing-Impaired (HI) learners. In current situation, the HI learners struggle dealing with e-Contents because they are not specifically designed for them or designed for them but with little regards on information accessibility. Hence, this study aims at addressing the information accessibility for that. Elicitation from literatures interview and observation have been carried out in gathering requirements and data. Then, prototypes were developed. Further, they were tested with real users. Findings show that the proposed concept, through the prototypes are experienced positively by the real users.
