  In this study the chicken breast skin tissues were illuminated with collimated radiation of 400-700 nm Nd-YAG pumped dye laser and measured skin optical properties for dry and hydrated sample in vitro. Total reflectance and transmitted intensities were recorded by which scattering, absorption and anisotropic factors of the sample obtained using double integrating sphere setup. The in vitro optical parameters are higher then in vivo measurements. Our in vitro results are in agreements with other data available in literature. Hydration of skin is found to influence its scattering properties. Dry sample scatter less then hydrated sample. Skin auto-florescence spectra were acquired under different excitation wavelength, it shows difference between normal and malignant tissues.

  The biokinetics parameters were investigated following oral dose of 1g secnidazole in healthy female volunteers. The plasma samples were deproteinized by ZnSO4 and NaOH analyzed by HPLC. The mean maximum concentration in plasma was found to be 23.08?0.8 after 2.5 h of drug administration. The area under curve (AUC) was 349.05 ± 20.9 h mg L-1. The clearance and volume of distribution were 0.44 ± 0.37 L h-1 and 11.09 ± 7.81 L respectively. The elimination half life was 13.86?0.92 h. The values for absorption rate constant and absorption half life were 2.97 ± 0.46 L h-1 and 0.27?0.03 h. The maximum concentration 16.24 ± 0.48 mg L-1 was achieved in 1.77 ± 0.16 h. These parameters showed that protein deproteinization method and analysis techniques are valid for the protein analysis of secnidazole.

  The biodisposition kinetin and urinary excretion of kanamycin was investigated in eight normal adult female goats of beetle breed after intravenous close of 5 mg/kg to each gear. After single intravenous administration of kanamycin. in goats, the distribution half-life and biological hall-life had average of 8.1±0.893 min and 2.87±0.12 hrs and ranged between 4.28 to 11.61minutes and 2.44 to 3.37 hrs respectively. The aapparent volume of distribution of kanamycin in goat calculated by area method was 584.6±34.21 mg/kg. The rate constants for Lananivein transfer across compartment 1 to 2, K12 and 2 to 1, K21 were 1.846±0.316 hr–1 and 3.800±0.434 hr and ranged between 1.016 to 3.713 hr–1 and 2.45 to 5.77 hr–1, respectively. Total body clearance of kanarnycin calculated on per kg basis ranged 1.79 to 3.59 ml/min/kg with an average value 2.389±0.194 ml/min/kg, Cumulative urinary excretion as percent of total does excreated at 12 hours was 10.266±1.233. The studies showed variation in pharmacokinetic behaviour of kanamycia in indigenous goats as compared to earlier studies.

  This study was undertaken to determine the effect of four moisture regimes i.e. I1 (77.5), I2 (100), I3 (122.5) and I4 (145) cm during 1992 and 1993. The study revealed that each additional level of moisture regime increased plant height, grain yield and yield components significantly. Number of panicle bearing tillers hill -1, and number of spikelet panicle -1 were significantly higher in I4 (145 cm). Significantly higher grain yield were produced by I4 (145 cm). Effect of irrigation was most pronounced on the yield components which developed fully at optimum irrigation level (I4). Consequently, their contribution to grain yield was substantially increased.
