  In this study, the citric acid and microbial phytase combination effect on the egg quality characteristics in commercial laying hens of Hy-line (W-36) strain in 53-64 week of age is studied. One hundred and ninety two of laying hens were tested. The experimental design was completely randomized design with a 3H2 factorial arrangement with three levels (0, 2 and 4%) of citric acid and two levels (0.0 and 300 FTU kg-1) of microbial phytase in low available phosphorus diets with 6 treatments, 4 replicates and 8 hens in each replicate. The measurements were specific gravity, eggshell thickness, Hough unit, eggshell weight and eggshell ash. The results showed that interaction of citric acid and phytase had significant (p<0.05) effect on specific gravity, eggshell thickness and eggshell weight. Adding of 4% citric acid to low available phosphorus diets decreased the Hough unit and eggshell ash in comparison with other groups, significantly (p<0.05). 300 unit kg-1 phytase addition in low available phosphorus diets, decreased the Hough unit, significantly (p<0.05). Also, phytase addition in low available phosphorus diets, was increased eggshell ash, significantly (p<0.05).

  Organization’s concerns as controlling costs, improving quality, increasing effectiveness and managing risk have become increasingly important. Business-IT alignment (B-ITa) is a known solution for such concerns. There is a considerable literature on measuring and improving B-ITa in single organizations but the problem of B-ITa in Collaborative Networked Organizations (CNOs) has hardly been studied. Maturity Models (MM) are newly emerging measurement strategies for businesses/organizations that can help to measure the maturity of the relationship. To assess the maturity of CNOs there exist a number of MMs in this study, researchers consider the most recently developed MM, the IT-Enabled Collaborative Networked Organizations Maturity Model that developed by Santana Tapia.

  In this study, the effects of exposure to a 950MHz electromagnetic field (EMF) emitted from cellular phones on serum testosterone and cortisol hormones rate of adult male Syrian Hamster were evaluated. Seventy two male Hamster in 3 groups include: group 1 or control group, group 2 or expose for 10 days and under 950 MHz EMF (emitted from Cellular Phone) for 1 h daily group 3 or expose for 50 days and under 950 MHz EMF for 1 h daily. In final, blood samples collected for determine of the testosterone and cortisol concentration in the serum. Results showed that in long term exposure EMF (group 3) testosterone and cortisol levels were increased (p<0.01), but both of cortisol and testosterone hormones in short term EMF exposure (group 2) did not significantly change. In conclusion, long-term exposure of cellular phones EMF may affect the reproductive activity and impair endocrine homeostasis and it may cause peripheral effects.

  The objective of this study investigate and compare the protein fraction of scheme CNCPS and chemical composition of seeds and pulps from White Grape Pomace (WGP) and Red Grape Pomace (RGP) origin as conventional feed in ruminants. The data was analyzed by using SAS 9.1 in completely randomized design. Comparison between the general compositions of both whole GPs, reveals important significant differences in ADF (p<0.05) and protein (p<0.05) values but chemical composition had non-significant difference (NDF, EE, OM, DM) in whole GPs (p>0.01). WGP seeds had higher CP (p<0.05) and ADF (p<0.05) than RGP seeds but RGP seeds had higher NDF (p<0.01) than RGP seeds but chemical composition had non-significant difference (EE, OM, DM) in whole GPs (p<0.05). Chemical analysis of GP pulp is remarkably similar with the notable exception of a lower level of ADF (p<0.01) and CP (p<0.05) in RGP pulp which had lower than WGP pulp. Nevertheless, chemical composition had non-significant difference (EE, OM, DM) in GPs pulp (p<0.05). Protein fractions A, B2 and B3 GPs had non-significant difference (p<0.05) but WGP had B1 lower (p<0.05) and B3 higher (p<0.01) than RGP (19.70, 13.40 and 28.06, 9.77 (CP%), respectively). WGP seeds had higher (p<0.01) C than RGP seeds (19.23 and 15.14 (CP%). Although, RGP seeds had higher (p<0.01) B2 than WGP seeds (10.70 and 4.33). WGP pulp had higher C (p<0.05) and B3 (p<0.05) than RGP pulp (19.34, 19.23 and 12.07, 15.14, respectively). Results showed that high proportion protein WGP and RGP is non-available for ruminant.

  An experiment with 320, 1 day male broilers (Ross 308) was performed to evaluate the effects of Arginine (Arg) and Vitamin E (VE) supplementation on antioxidant status, some biochemical parameters and ascites mortality in broiler chickens with cold temperature induced Pulmonary Hypertension Syndrome (PHS). The chickens were distributed between 16 pens of 20 each and each four allocated to each of experimental treatments. Treatment 1: was the birds fed a commercial corn-soybean meal based diet (control), Treatment 2: the birds fed the control diet supplemented with 400 IU VE kg-1 of feed (VE), Treatment 3: the birds fed the control diet supplemnetd with 0.3% Arg in drinking water (Arg) and Treatment 4: the birds fed the control diet supplemented with 400 IU VE and 0.3% Arg (Arg-VE). At day 14, temperature was reduced to amplify the incidence of Pulmonary Hypertension. Hematological and oxidants status parameters (in serum and liver) were determined at day 21 and 42 of age. Right/Total Ventricular weight ratio (RV/TV) was recorded at the end of the experiment (week 6). The results of experiment showed that Arg birds at day 42 had the lower (p≤0.05) RV/TV ratio and ascites mortality yet had improved growth performance parameters. Red Blood Cell (RBC), Hematocrit (Hct) and Hemoglobin (Hgb) was significantly lower in Arg and Arg-VE birds as compared to other birds at day 42 of age. Plasma Malondialdehyde (MDA) wae significantly lower in Arg and Arg-VE birds as compared to other birds at 42. Plasma Glutathione Peroxidase (GPX) activity was greater (p≤0.05) in both the Arg and Arg-VE birds as compared to other groups at day 42. Plasma and liver Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) activity was not affected by none of the Arg or VE supplementation. In summary level of Arg but not for VE used in this experiment, synchronic, some change effects on MDA and TAS in plasma or hematological parameters had positive effects on cardio pulmonary performance, growth performance and ascites mortality in broiler encounter with low temperature and PHS.
