  Scientific workflow technology has been a useful tool in scientific computations. Since, scientific workflows are normally data-intensive and have complex structures, how to find the relevant knowledge that scientists concern about in a large scientific workflow is a key issue. This study presents a concept of scientific workflow slice which is a sub-workflow relative to a specific slice criterion and proposes a slice generation algorithm. In addition, we also give the concepts of forward workflow slice and backward workflow slice and propose the slicing methods. Our approach can be seemed as a kind of workflow data filter which is expected to apply in scientific workflow provenance, fault-tolerance and reuse.

  Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a very long history in China. As a part of Chinese culture heritage, clinical TCM records were preserved in TCM books. With the rapid development of digitization movement, a lot of these books are being digitized and it will be very useful if the medical records can be extracted as structural information. However, the content of TCM records is in old Chinese language and has diverse written styles as they are accomplished by different authors. Hence, it’s difficult to extract these records by a general one-step approach. In this paper, we present a hierarchical information extraction method that extracts medical records in a multi-level way. Corresponding algorithms are designed according to different information level respectively so that not only the detailed textual features, such as written style and printing format but also the relations between these information are taken into account during the process of extraction. We verify our approach with TCM books which are in old Chinese language and are hard to process with normal natural language processing techniques. The experiment shows that our approach achieves a good performance for most of the test books and can be applied for other similar tasks.

  In this study, for the problems of detection difficulty and high mechanical performance requirement of megawatt wind power gear boxes, the gear box structure is designed and the finite element models of the box body and the gear box are established. First, force calculation and static analysis were performed when the box body undertaked 1.4 times of the rated load. The box body structure was improved under the condition of meeting rigidity and strength requirements: the materials of the upper and lower box bodies which bear less force were composed of QT350 instead of QT400, so as to save costs. Furthermore, the gearbox was supported by elasticity rather than fixation. Modal analyses were, respectively performed and the comparison showed that supported by elasticity could reduce vibration more effectively. Finally, the system’s frequency catching was analyzed on this basis. The results show that the system has no frequency catching, thus it cannot produce resonance and the structure is safe. The research has been applied to relevant equipments and is shown to run well, thereby providing a reference for actual manufacture.

  Analytic network process is a new kind of decision-making method that deals with the relationship of dependence and feedback and it was developed and evolved from the foundation of analytic hierarchy process. When it comes to brand crisis management it contributes significantly and vigorously to the survival and development of companies in a more and more competitive world nowadays. This paper comes up with 12 criterions of crisis management from three dimensions: strategic criterions, operational criterions and financial criterions. Meanwhile it takes a case of the national brands CHERY and GEELY of China and applies analytic network process to analyze the 12 criterions mentioned above. Then, a conclusion was drawn: CHERY does a better job than GEELY in terms of brand crisis management according to the outcome of our research.

  Organic light-emitting diodes with 8-hydroxy-quinolinato lithium doped 4´7-diphyenyl-1, 10-phenanthroline as electron transport layer (ETL), and etrafluro-tetracyano-quinodimethane doped 4,4´,4´´-tris(3-methylphenylphenylamono) triphenylamine as hole transport layer (HTL) are demonstrated. The conductivity of carrier transport layers with different doping concentration is examined by hole-only and electron-only devices. Compared with the referenced device (without doping), the current efficiency and power efficiency of the p–i–n device are enhanced by approximately 51% and 89%, respectively. This improvement is attributed to the improved conductivity of the transport layers and the efficient charge balance in the emission zone.
