  The mathematical models of gas–liquid two-phase flow are introduced, in which the multi-mode eXtended Pom–Pom (XPP) model is selected to predict the viscoelastic behavior of polymer melt. The gas-penetration process is simulated using Level Set/SIMPLEC methods, which can capture the moving interfaces at different time, including the gas–melt interface and the melt front. The physical features such as velocity, temperature and elasticity are described at different time. The influences of gas delay time and injection pressure on gas-penetration time and penetration length are analyzed. The numerical results show that the Level Set/SIMPLEC methods can precisely trace the two moving interfaces in gas-penetration process, the fractional coverage increases at very low Deborah numbers, while at higher Deborah numbers the fractional coverage decreases, and the penetration length is affected significantly by gas delay time and injection pressure.

  In this study, a novel Ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter with single notched band based Microstrip line and Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) Hybrid Structure is presented which can effectively restrain the electromagnetic interference between systems, to ensure immunity of the system. The proposed filter is based on microstrip-fed CPW resonant structure, among which, two identical structure microstrip feeder and open-ended coplanar waveguide are located in the upper and lower layers of the dielectric substrate. The Complementary Split-Ring Resonators is embedded on the lower structure in the middle of a length of approximately 1/2 wavelength CPW which gets the adjustable notch band, thereby gaining the dual band. Experiment results demonstrated that the bandwidth of filter designed is from 3.1 to 10.6 GHz (-3 dB bandwidth), fractional bandwidth of 92% at the central frequency 6.8 GHz and the notch band can be changed optionally from 3.6 to 9 GHz.

  Early detection of Aspergillus fumigatus (A. fumigatus) may facilitate early diagnosis and prevention of Invasive Aspergillosis (IA) in dairy cows. This study used a nested PCR and real-time quantitative PCR method to measure A. fumigatus in feed, tissue and blood samples collected from domestic dairy farms in China. In total, 396 feed samples from across China including corn, soybean meal, cotton seed meal, wheat mill run, distiller’s dried grains, corn and grass silage and Total Mixed Ration (TMR) were tested. Of these, 95% contained detectable levels of A. fumigatus. Blood and tissue samples from the GI tract of 7 unhealthy cows all tested positive for A. fumigatus. The analytical sensitivity of the PCR method was<1 fg/assay.
