  In this paper we present results, from 2008: the influence of cultivars, the density and fertilization on plant morphology, size and number of leaves and leaf production. They studied four cultivations of artichokes: “Unirea” (Romanian varieties), “Violet” (Italian variety), “Agrosel 656” (commercial cultivar) and “de Chisinau” (cultivar of Moldavia Rep.). They were placed in the experimental field at Jucu - Cluj, two densities (70 x 40 cm and 70 x 60 cm) and three levels of fertilization (F0 = unfertilized, F20 = applied 20 t / ha manure to plowing in the autumn and F 40 = 40 t / ha manure). Before the first harvest measurements were made on plant size, number and size of leaves and ultimately the production of leaves for the two harvesting. Results of determinations are contained in four tables. Statistical interpretation of data has been done by analysis of variance. Plant size in the four cultivations was between 30 and 60 cm in direct correlation with fertilization. Total production of fresh leaves was between 13.33 and 25.10 t / ha. This variant was more productive: the variety “Unirea”, fertilization 40 t / ha manure and distances between plants 70 x 40 cm. There is a direct correlation between close-fertilization and greater plant density per unit area.

  The experimental field UASVM Cluj-Napoca, from Jucu in 2008, we made some research on the behavior of eight marigold varieties in three conditions of soil fertilization with manure. The year 2008 was characterized by an amount close to average rainfall, but a mean temperature of the vegetation period increased by 6.7°C. Climatic conditions were favorable marigold cultivation. The marigold cultivars have made a number of biometric measurements such as waist measurement of average plants, diameter of inflorescences, inflorescence mass of 100, the production of inflorescences and drying efficiency. Plant size in the eight varieties of marigold was between 64 and 92 cm. Average diameter of inflorescences was between 4.7 and 8.25 cm. Mass of 100 marigold inflorescence ranged from 240 to 90 g and the production of fresh inflorescences was between 6,890 and 10,200 kg/ha. Yields the largest inflorescence was obtained from cultivars "Belezza del Pacifico", "Cluj 2"and "Starsem 922", with over 9600 kg fresh inflorescences /ha. Production at marigold is strongly influenced by genotype and fertilizer. The average yield was drying 6 / 1. There is a direct correlation between size and mass of their inflorescences.

  To study economic efficiency in the cultivation of perrenial grassland leguminous for seed production in spring 2005 we have initiated studies regarding the optimization of technological factors (fertilization, planting distance between rows, sowing norm, sowing time, harvest time, how to prepare the bed germinative) to Medicago sativa Satellite variety, Trifolium pratense Select 1 variety, Onobrychis vicifolia Splendid variety and Lotus corniculatus Alina variety, experiments were seeded in three repetitions with harvested plot size of 10m square. Data from the process charts for the years of study (2005 and 2006) were those obtained using optimal productions: hay in year 1 and year 2 of cutting, straw production and seed production for each species that were studied, but prices for materials and farming were those used in the usual practice in agriculture. After laborious studies conducted field and laboratory as well as the calculations was obtained a greater economic efficiency if the species of vegetation cultivated for seed production was red clover and in the worst for trefoil in the first two years, but was obtained a good economic efficiency in case of lucerne and sainfoin cultivars.

  In the experimental field of UASVM Cluj-Napoca from Jucu we performed, between 2008-2010, a series of research on the behavior of eight varieties of marigold, in three conditions of soil fertilization with manure. The average yearly air temperature is 10.71 ° C Jucu in 2008, 11.12 ° C in 2009 and 11.21 ° C in 2010 and during the growing season (aprilie-sept.) of 17.70 ° C 19.07 ° C and 18, 08 ° C. In terms of rainfall, 2008 was very dry (less than 150 mm from the annual average), 2009 excessively dry (less than 250 mm annual average) and 2010 was very wet (83 mm more than the annual average). Climatic conditions were favorable to grow marigolds. A series of biometric measurements have been conducted on the eight varieties of marigold, such as waist measurement of the average plant, the production of flowers and drying efficiency, the correlation between average plant size and production. Average plant size in eight varieties of marigold, in 2008-2010 was between 67.44 and 84.78 cm. Production of fresh flowers was between 7400 and 8507 kg / ha. The biggest production of inflorescences was obtained from varieties of “Belezza del Pacifico”, “Cluj 2” and “Starsem 922”, with over 9.000 kg / ha of fresh flowers. Production of Marigold is strongly influenced by genotype and fertilization. The average yield of drying was 6 / 1. Between the average height of marigold plant and production there's a direct link. The increase of production is influenced by the average size of marigold plant.

  In this paper we present results of the research made between 2008-2010 on the influence of cultivation, density and fertilization on the plant’s morphology and leaf production. Experiences had been located in the experimental field of Jucu, CJ. We took four cultivation of artichokes in the study: “Unirea”, “Violet”, “Agrosel 656” and “Chisinau”. They were placed in the experimental field of Jucu - Cluj, made in two densities (3.57 pl/sqm and 2.38 pl/sqm) and three levels of fertilization (unfertilized, fertilized with 20 t/ha farmyard manure and 40 t/ha manure in the fall plowing).
