  With the simulation technique keeping rapid development, updating HLA-incompatibility simulation models to HLA compatibility, especially multi-elements simulation model, become a useful way to realize the aim and save the money and time for user. After introducing the HLA and HLA compatibility of model, in this paper, several facing problems during updating model including architecture, creating mode of data interface, simulation time driven mechanism, interactive mode of information and internal data structure were proposed. Aiming at these main problems, updating architecture should been done firstly from software and hardware which would reconstruct the connection modes among elements of simulation model. Partition of information flow module would distinguish the exchanging data between among elements and with outside of model and remove unnecessary sub-functions away from simulation model. Furthermore, it simplifies the difficulty of updating work and reduces workload which increases the updating project successful. The original time driven mechanism can accord to the HLA/RTI simulation clock by adjusting simulation time driven mechanism. Therefore the methods proposed in this study would improve universal and reusable of the simulation model of HLA incompatibility.

  It is well known that increasing redundancy in a system generally improves the availability and dependability of the system. In this study, we present a Virtualization-based Recovery for Intrusion Tolerance (VRIT) architecture that strengthens cluster’s availability and dependability through periodic and event-driven recovery. By periodically reverting each virtual server to a pristine state, the VRIT cluster can limit the online exposure time of all servers, ensuring that even undetected attacks will be thwarted or at least be limited. Anomaly detection engines are installed in every virtual server to enable event-driven recovery within a fixed recovery cycle. Accumulated intrusion reports will prompt the compromised servers to be reverted earlier. A control algorithm is designed to manage both security and service availability. Experimental results demonstrate good performance of the algorithm.

  To better solve high-dimensional function optimization problems, for the defects of some optimization algorithms, such as premature convergence and low accuracy in Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and slow convergence in Bacterial Foraging Algorithm (BFA), this study presents a self-adaptive hybrid intelligent optimization algorithm based on BFA and PSO (ABSO for short). The ABSO algorithm first realizes dynamic no-linear self-adaptive improvement for learning factors and inertial weight of PSO and chemotaxis step length of BFA, respectively. After chemotaxis operation of BFA being finished, the optimization updating mechanism of PSO is introduced to continue to update bacterial location to help BFA escape from local optima which combines organically the optimization update mechanism of PSO and the chemotaxis update mechanism of BFA and well balances the global search and local development capabilities. Simulation results on four benchmark functions show that the ABSO algorithm is superior to BFA, PSO, self-adaptive PSO and other two kinds of BFA hybrid algorithm in convergence speed, accuracy and robustness. This proves the validity of the ABSO algorithm in high-dimensional function optimization problems.

  With the rapid growth of Web services, services must be stored in repositories. To enhance the discovery efficiency of Web services, it is necessary to preprocess the services in the repository to achieve an effective organization structure. A RGPS-based service preprocessing method is proposed in this study. Services are firstly clustered based on the domain ontology and the RGPS model. The particle swarm optimization algorithm is then used in the service composition according to the frequent service request. This method leads to a rapid matching between services and the RGPS requirement model and acceleration in the service discovery.

  This study mainly focus on: with the modern manufacturing industry stepping into the era of post-industrialization, Chinese modern manufacturing enterprises have to promote technical innovation, adjust industrial structures, perfect Logistics Resources System (LRS), strengthen quality education, enhance Supply Chain Management (SCM) level, fulfill energy saving and waste lowering, uphold stable, sustained and coordinated and scientific development. Facing to the global and economic recovery, this is a very important problem how to solve before us. Utilization of the production line balancing based on LRS integration, the Chinese modern manufacturing industry and logistics industry would put their heads together and find ways to tide over the difficulty and win an advantage over the international competition.

  Catalase-like activity of a dinuclear manganese-salen (Mn-salen) complex, [Mn(salen)(H2O)]2(ClO4)2 (salen = N,N ′ -bis(salicylidene)-1,2-diaminoethane), was investigated. The dinuclear Mn-salen complex exhibits higher catalase-like activity than that of the mononuclear Mn-salen compound, and its activity can be enhanced by an external base. Different reaction intermediates in the presence and absence of an external base were observed, and the catalytically active species was dimeric as evidenced by UV-Vis spectroscopic studies and mass spectrometry data.

  CHP2 (calcineurin B homologous protein 2) was initially identified as a tumor-associated antigen highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma. Its biological function remains largely unknown except for a potential role in transmembrane Na+/H+ exchange. In the present study, we observed that ectopic expression of CHP2 promoted the proliferation of HEK293 cells, whereas knockdown of endogenous CHP2 expression in HepG2 inhibited cell proliferation. When inoculated into nude mice, CHP2 transfected HEK293 cells displayed markedly increased oncogenic potential. In analysis of the underlying molecular mechanisms, we found that like calcineurin B, CHP2 was able to bind to and stimulate the phosphatase activity of calcineurin A. In accord with this, CHP2-transfected cells showed increased nuclear presence of NFATc3 (nuclear factor of activated T cells) and enhanced NFAT activity. Finally, both accelerated cell proliferation and NFAT activation following CHP2 transfection could be suppressed by the calcineurin inhibitor cyclosporine A, suggesting an intrinsic connection between these events. Taken together, our results highlighted a potential role of CHP2 in tumorigenesis and revealed a novel function of CHP2 as an activator of the calcineurin/NFAT signaling pathway.
