  In view of disadvantages existing in current decision making model for vessel intelligent collision avoidance system, a macro-simulation encounter model is presented based on analysis of domestic and foreign research results including overall design and general consensus for vessel intelligent collision avoidance decision-making. To be consistent with collision avoidance, overall process of the decision-making system and flow chart of the main subsystem are presented in detail. Taking full advantages of AIS (Automatic Identification System), this collision avoidance system can supply a reasonable and effective avoidance scheme when two vessels encounter by analyzing and judging encounter situation. Based on programming with VC++ and simulating with AIS data in electronic chart display platform, the presented model is effective to guarantee vessel safety.

  Hydrostatic curve is one important technical data for vessel design, vessel building, marine transportation and other related business. With hydrostatic curve, parameters about performance of vessel navigation can be computed, which can improve navigation safety and complete scientific cargo distribution. Compared to traditional conversion from 3D vessel hull to 2D plane computation methods, this study, by applying affine transformation theory, presents water-line plane equation determined by floating parameter, calculates precisely vessel hydrostatic properties under arbitrary floating condition by using the intersection algorithm of the plane and the surface as well as the universal algorithm for arbitrary sealed polygon and arbitrary sealed polyhedron. Hydrostatic performance computation results of sample real vessels including cargo arrangement and stability curve under given loading condition confirm the validity of these proposed algorithms.

  A Yak Mammary Myoepithelial cell line (YMM) from the mammary gland of a lactational yak was established and maintained long-term in culture by continuous subculturing. YMM cells were maintained for >6 months (40 passages) in DMEM/F12 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum without obvious signs of senescence. When grown on a plastic substratum, YMM cells showed a distinctive stellate morphology. Moreover, the cells formed a monolayer but did not form contiguous membrane to membrane contacts when grown to confluency. YMM cells appeared to proliferate without changes in morphology or growth pattern before passage 15 with an estimated population doubling time of 66-68 h. However, YMM cells changed to polygonal-like in morphology and their population doubling time reduced to approximately 59-61 h after stored in liquid nitrogen for 3 months and cultured for 5 more passages (passage 15). Furthermore, YMM cells remained immunopositive to antibodies against α-smooth muscle actin, cytokeratin7 and vimentin which suggested that the YMM cell line was myoepithelial origin. Noticeably, YMM cells appeared oxytocin responsiveness when supplemented oxytocin in medium and incubated for 30 min. Karyotyping analysis indicated that the cells maintained a normal diploid chromosome modal number of 2n = 60. In the opinion, the YMM cell line would become a useful model to study cell to cell communication and the mechanism in mammary growth and differentiation and cancerogenesis.

  The aims of this study were to evaluate the expression of EGFR, Ki67 and p-EPK in the oral cavity and oropharyngeal cancers and to investigate their clinical significance as prognostic markers. The 100 patients who underwent curative surgery for oral cavity or oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma in Renmin hospital of Beijing University between March 1999 and October 2010 were evaluated. The level of protein expression of EGFR, Ki67 and p-EPK was assessed by immunohisto chemistry. In situ hybridization was used to detect the existence of Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Nineteen of 75 patients with oropharyngeal cancer showed HPV-positive tumors and two of 72 patients with oral cavity cancer showed HPV-positive tumors. EGFR and Ki67 expression was significantly higher in oral cavity cancers than in oropharyngeal cancers. Loss of p-EPK occurred significantly more frequently in oral cavity cancers than in oropharyngeal cancers. Over expression of EGFR and Ki67 and loss of p-EPK were observed more frequently in HPV-negative tumors. Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that Ki67 expression had a significantly unfavorable impact on relapse-free survival in oropharyngeal cancer. Researchers conclude that the expression levels of EGFR, Ki67 and p-EPK differ between oropharyngeal and oral cavity cancer and it may be attributed to HPV-related molecular pathogenesis. The expression of Ki67 might be an unfavorable prognostic marker for relapse-free survival in oropharyngeal cancer.

  To describe 3D ship hull surface precisely and provide simulation help for charging-discharging of awkward length cargo, this paper proposed NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) based method to reconstruct 3D ship hull surface. Based on the study of basic theory of NURBS curve and surface modeling, many algorithms for NURBS such as the highly effective fast algorithm for calculating B-spline basis function, NURBS curve degree elevation algorithm based on end point interpolation are realized. A new method is further proposed to reconstruct NURBS surface by transfiguring fore and aft cross section line according to the hull lines plan or two-dimensional offset table. This method makes transfiguration to the cross section line situated at the bulb-bow and bulb-stern of the vessel, so that the projection of transfigured cross section line on the middle vertical section will be a curve and of isometry with the corresponding fore and aft contour line in broad sense, then a rectangular lattice will be formed by unified processing of these transfigured cross section lines together with other cross section lines and eventually a single hull NURBS surface will be reconstructed by using the end interpolation method. A simulation system is developed based on the proposed method and applied to awkward and length cargo charging and discharging. Compared to traditional modeling methods, this new simulation system can provide quick and precise loading scheme for shipping business.

  Eight alkaline and alkaline-earth compounds derived from 2,4-dinitroimidazole (2,4-HDNI) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, and TG-DSC, of which K(2,4-DNI) (1), Rb(2,4-DNI)(2,4-HDNI)(H2O)2 (2), and Ba(2,4-DNI)2(H2O)4 (3) were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. All the three compounds were crystallized from water, but 1 was an anhydrate. The coordination number in 1 and 3 is 10, but in 2 is 9. The 2,4-DNI adopts either η3, η2, or η1 coordination modes depending on the metal cation. In 3, there is an inversion center located on the metal. Only in 2 does water play an important role for the construction of the structure; in 3 it is a hydrogen bonding participant. TG-DSC analyses of 1 were also performed, and non-isothermal decomposition reaction kinetics were obtained.
