  A study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary GroBiotic-A (1-3%) on growth and blood profiles of kutum (Rutilus frisii kutum) fingerlings (0.78±0.19 g) compared to fish fed an unsupplemented prebiotic in diet. After 8 weeks of feeding on the experimental diets, total protein, albumin, creatinine, compleman 3, compleman 4 and IgM were significantly higher (p = 0.05), in fish fed GroBiotic-A with 3% than control group. Other biochemical parameter such as glucose, aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, creatine phosphokinase, cholesterol, blood urea nitrogen, amylase, calcium, iron, phosphorus and magnesium were measured and compared to the control group (0% GroBiotic-A), dietary GroBiotic-A had no effect on serum. There were no significant differences in growth parameters between experimental groups and control group (p = 0.05). These results indicate that fish blood profiles could be affected by prebiotics which should be taken into account in preparing formula feed for artificial rearing fish.

  In the present study, Caspian brown trout (Salmo trutta caspius) were exposed to environmentally subchronic concentrations of mercury chloride. The effect of this contaminant on blood parameters was investigated. Salmo trutta caspius was exposed to 3.5, 4.8 and 10 μg L-1 of HgCl2 waterborne for 35 days. After 35 days of exposure, Red Blood Cell (RBC) count in three treated groups (1.3±0.02, 1.2±0.02 and 1.1±0.01, 106 mm-3, respectively), Hemoglobin content (9.2±0.3, 8.02±0.3 and 7.1±0.4, g dL-1, respectively), Hematocrit percentage (38.02±2.1, 39.3±2.6 and 34.1±1.8, respectively), Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV; 257.4±48.7, 172.5±17.6 and 160.9±15.7 μm3, respectively) and Mean corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH; 72.6±3.2, 61.7±2.5 and 59.6±2.4, pg, respectively) were decreased when compared to the control (RBC; 1.3±0.01, 106 mm-3, Hb; 9.6±0.2 g dL-1 Hematocrit percentage; 38.2±2.2, MCV; 268.7±41.4 μm3 and MCH; 73.5±2.8 pg). The number of white blood cells (WBC; 0.73±0.06, 0.86±0.06 and 0.93±0.09, 104 mm-3) and the Erythrocyte-Sedimentation Rate (ESR; 2.7±1.8, mm h-1) increased in mercuric chloride treated fish. Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC) values in treated fish (30.7±4.4, 29.6±3.4 and 29.9±5.03%, respectively) were not different compared to control group (31.6±5.6%).

  The purpose of this study is to determine energy consumption of output and input and investigated their effects on ecosystem in a tourism zone in North of Iran. We are interest to know how much energy produce and how much of them consumed. The Mazandran province in South part of Caspian Sea has main potential for production with suitable land, enough water and good soil. The first part of our discussion is about agri-food sector that have important part in economic development because of its great role on public health. In this area, the most cultivation product is related to industry products with 38.6%. In fish culture sector Mazandaran has 664 numbers of warm water fish culture with beneficial extent of 2362 ha warm water fish, 26.6 ha cold water fish and 12678 ha natural resource. Recently by increasing the population in this area, the ground which allocated to build houses, increased about 24%. To substitute the land for building, a part of forest and agricultural area were used. By comparing the data during a decade about 360 ha of green land were used for this purpose. The population growth leads to increasing demand for food and shelter. In this respect the area for compensate the increase population just during two recent year is estimated to be 670 ha. On the other hand traveling to Mazandran province to use its favorite weather is increasing, therefore energy consumption is increased. All of these trend results in increase demand for fuel consumption and CO2 generated.
