  Feature-based method is the focus of heterogeneous CAD model exchange. In order to keep the consistency of design intent in heterogeneous CAD model exchange, a constraint conversion method was proposed. Firstly, Feature transformation ways were given to support the correct conversion of constraint. Secondly, the geometric certificate was improved to identify geometric elements and geometric element is the acting object of constraint. Thirdly, the constraint conversion method on level of feature was proposed corresponding to different types of feature and the global transformation method of constraint during heterogeneous CAD models exchanging. Finally, a transformation case of part model from CATIA to UG shows that the approach proposed above is effective.

  Background and Objective: Human Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma (ESCC) is one of the most common malignancies and the most frequent reason of cancer death around the world. Jinlong Capsule (JLC) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and has been used for several decades to treat cancers with significantly improved clinical outcomes as adjuvant therapy. In the present study, the effect of JLC on anti-proliferative, pro-apoptotic activities of human Eca-109 and EC9706 cells in vitro were investigated. Materials and Methods: The MTT assay was used to detect cell viability. Apoptosis analysis by flow cytometry was used to detect the percentages of the living cells as well as early, late apoptotic cells and necrotic cells. Ultrastructure observation using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) was used to observe the ultrathin sections. Mitochondrial Transmembrane Potential (MTP) assessment, immunofluorescence staining and expression level of proteins by western blotting were detected its mechanism. Results: All the results showed that JLC could decrease proliferation and induce apoptosis in ESCC cells. Moreover, JLC might increase the expression of pro-apoptotic proteins caspase-8 and caspase-9 by activating the extrinsic and the intrinsic apoptotic pathways. The anti-apoptosis protein B-cell lymphoma-2 (Bcl-2) also could promote mitochondrial-mediated apoptosis by inducing Mitochondrial Outer Membrane Permeabilization (MOMP) in the study. Besides, the MAPK signal pathway took function in ESCC cells that treated with different concentrations of JLC. Conclusion: These findings suggested that JLC may be a promising agent worthy of being investigated for the treatment of human ESCC in vitro. The JLC holds the multi-targeted therapeutic effects of TCM.

  Preparing biological tissue samples is an extremely tedious and time-consuming laboratory task, albeit one critical for rapid diagnoses of infectious diseases. Here, researchers reported a novel, low-cost sampling technique for rapid and accurate removal of minute tissue portions from various animal organs. Each sampled tissue portion could be easily dispersed and homogenized in storage solution in 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tube and was sufficient for the molecular diagnosis of the presence or absence of infectious disease using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) technique. This new sampling technique is beneficial as it provides both uniformity for high-throughput sampling and minimization of cross-contamination.

  Phylogenetic relationships of 36 Fringillidae species based on mitochondrial CoI gene sequences were reconstructed using the Bayesian (BI) maximum-likelihood (ML) and Neighbor-joining(NJ)methods. The results suggest that the relationship of Calcarius lapponicus and Emberiza is more closely related than other Fringillidae species.Our results support the view that Latoucheornis siemsseni is included in Genus Emberiza as E. siemsseni, and confirms that there is a close relationship between Mycerobas affinis and Eophona migratorius. This study also finds that Urocynchramus pylzowi is distantly related to Uragus sibiricus, but Uragus sibiricus and Carpodacus are closely related. The result also supports that fringillids and emberizids can be listed into two subfamilies under the family Fringillidae: Fringillinae and Emberizinae.
