The study of morphometric and histologic evolutions of the Thymus during 28 weeks of post-hashing age, realized on 86 subjects of broiler chicken they permitted to collect information about the morpho-histological aspect according to their post-hashing age; showed the size and the weight of the Thymus which reach their maximum at the 2nd week of age and the physiologic involution phenomena. These variations are in close relationship to the sexual maturity. These results can be used in the diagnosis of viral disease such as the Gumboro disease, Marek disease, Mycotoxicose.

One hundred, one day old Boiler chicks were randomly divided into two groups and kept in two rooms of different temperatures, first at a temperature of 35±2°C and the second at a temperature of 24±2°C (neutral). A samples were collected after heat exposure at 4 stages during experimental (1st, 2nd, 4th and 6 th week). Samples which were taken from the second room were served as control group. The result revealed that heat stress decreased weight of the bursa of Fabricius. Birds sacrificed at the sixth week showed a bursa with a thin parenchyma, the basal membrane hardly visible, the epithelium is folded, appearance of numerous cysts and leading subepithelial connective tissue, follicles showing lymphoid depletion and necrosis in more than 45 % of cells and moderate interfollicular fibrosis.

Sixty six broiler chickens (Ross 308) 60 day of age were selected according to their average body weight (2600 g) from broiler flock. Chickens were divided in 2 groups. The first group were slaughtered according to the Islamic ritual and Allah’s name has pronounced. The second group was slaughtered but the name of Allah was not pronounced. Livers and pectoral muscle fragments were collected carefully set in a 10% formalin and sent to the histology laboratory. The main results of the current study could be summarized as follows: Histological changes observed in broilers chickens slaughtered without naming of Allah consist mainly on congestive areas localized in blood vessels of the liver and pectoral muscles in some cases focal edema have been observed. While the liver and pectoral muscles of broilers slaughtered with Islamic method showed normal structure and no congestion have been noticed.

The diagnosis requires a background of current knowledge in the field and also complementary means in which the laboratory occupies the central place for a better investigation. A correct diagnosis allows to establish the most appropriate treatment as soon as possible and avoids both the economic losses associated with mortality and growth retardation often observed in poultry further more it may reduce the high cost of treatment. Epidemiologic survey, hematologic and histopathologic study's are three aspects of diagnosis heavily used in both human and veterinary pathology and the advanced researches in human medicine would be exploited to be applied in veterinary medicine with given modification. Whereas, the diagnostic methods in the east of Algeria are limited to the clinical signs and necropsy finding. Therefore, the diagnosis is based simply on the success or the failure of the therapeutic methods (therapeutic diagnosis).
