  This study aimed to develop education model based on Tyler’s four-step curriculum theory to enhance the ability of nursing information processing. The subjects of this study were 37 students of undergraduate nursing science course at the university from September, 1, 2014 to December, 11, 2014. Before class begins, the team work skills were assessed, the reevaluation was made at the end of the class and then data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Developed curriculum and non-curriculum liking integrated education model to enhance the nursing information processing capability, according to Tylor’s curriculum development and operation procedures. Curriculum course work included the liberal art course (Excel, Word, etc.) and nursing major course which is the title of nursing informatics. Non-curriculum activity included club activity named NISR (Nursing Information and Statistics Research), special lectures about nursing statistics and mobile application development. After the course work, I checked the 3 learning outcomes (the level of information theory and knowledge, mobile application template development ability and data analysis ability. Analysis of academic achievement degree of learning performance based on the above evaluation criteria. Among the 37 students, learning outcome 1 and 2 were found to be more than ‘middle’ but in the case of learning outcome 3-5 students (13.5%) were ‘low’. Student’s teamwork skills after the 1st and 15th lectures of the lectures, the post-test score (3.94, 0.45) was higher than the pre-test score (3.89, 0.39). Curriculum and non-curriculum linkage integrated education model was found to be effective. This study proposes to develop a competency-based curriculum linkage model in accordance with the characteristics of the curriculum.

  The professional sports league has been one of the biggest business industries. And both each team manager and league manager have interested in good game schedule for the benefit. Sports League Scheduling Problem (SLSP) study had started in operation research and many researchers have been worked over the last two decades. The traveling tournament problem is recently proposed by Goerigk and Westphal which is a well-known combinatorial optimization problem aimed at developing optimal schedules for sport leagues. The TTP is considered a difficult problem in that its constraints appear to be simple but are difficult to satisfy and the objective of minimizing the total travel distance is difficult to achieve. Thus, it has been considered a challengeable combinatorial optimization problem for both theoretical and practical reasons. In this study, we present a hybrid heuristic algorithm using the Tabu search and simulated annealing procedures for solving the traveling tournament problem. Computational experiments using a hybrid approach on benchmark sets give results comparable to or better than current best known solutions.

  The primary objective of the traditional arms industry was to focus on strengthening domestic military strength. Accordingly, most of the relevant researches have focused on development and evaluation of core weapons technologies. Relying solely on domestic demands greatly limits the possibility of the arms industry’s growth. Furthermore, global financial crisis and military budget cuts are compelling the companies to seek broader markets. However, significant distinction from general export as well as both the competitiveness and high entrance barrier of the global arms trade makes such endeavor demanding. Such adversity necessitates dissimilar studies that will focus on evaluating the feasibility of exporting weapon systems and identifying promising markets. This study presents a three-step analytical procedure that combines both quantitative and qualitative approaches to address this issue, selection of buying power indices and evaluation of competing weapons systems, two-phase screening for selecting promising countries using both quantitative and qualitative analyses and final selection of target countries by utilizing the Bruce Merrifield-Ohe (BMO) Method. The proposed research is evaluated by applying the proposed procedure to two actual weapon system export cases in Republic of Korea with opposite results a success and a failure.
