  In order to investigate the new strains circulating in Beijing, 24 positive samples of CPVs were isolated from Beijing of China between 2009 and 2011 and the sequences of the main capsid protein VP2 were obtained. These sequences were analyzed in comparison with the sequences of 29 other strains of CPV from GenBank. Two types of CPV, including CPV-2 and CPV-2a were detected and CPV-2a (with Ala297 mutation) was predominant in Beijing and 4 strains CPV-2a types were found to carry the amino acid substitution Ala440. The unique Ile324 mutation in the VP2 of Beijing CPV isolate was detected as compared with a Tyr324 in the VP2 of the reference CPV strains. A phylogenetic tree was constructed from the VP2 genes. These results showed that most of the isolated Beijing strains classified in a cluster Chinese field isolates which were distinct from American and Italian isolates.

  In iron and steel industry, byproduct gases are important energy. Therefore it is significant to optimize byproduct gas distribution to achieve total cost reduction. In this paper, a dynamic mixed integer linear programming (MILP) model for multi-period optimization of byproduct gases is used to optimize byproduct gas distribution. Compared with the previous optimization model, the proposed model simultaneously optimizes the distribution of byproduct gases in byproduct gas system, cogeneration system and iron- and steel-making system. Case study shows that the proposed model finds the optimal solution in terms of total cost reduction.

  To have an overall investigation of cold storage characteristics to help to promote the application, a novel small scale of gas hydrate cold storage apparatus was designed. The amount of cold energy, growth rate, Hydrate Packed Factor (HPF) and overall heat transfer coefficient during the cold storage process were calculated and analyzed under different heat exchangers, sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDS) concentrations, hydration enhancement ways, inlet coolant temperatures and flow rates, etc. Results show that the cold storage performance could be improved greatly by adding a heat exchanger with vertical metal fins; SDS with concentration of 0.04 wt.% could help to improve the cold storage performance effectively. In addition, decreasing of the coolant temperature or increasing of the coolant flow rate could also make the amount of cold storage increased; it was found that mechanical blending for 5 min was the better hydration enhancement way than others, which presents the perspective for practical application.

  The cyclic AMP receptor protein (CRP) is a bacterial regulator that controls more than 100 promoters, including those involved in catabolite repression. In the present study, a null deletion of the crp gene was constructed for Yersinia pestis bv. microtus strain 201. Microarray expression analysis disclosed that at least 6% of Y. pestis genes were affected by this mutation. Further reverse transcription-PCR and electrophoretic mobility shift assay analyses disclosed a set of 37 genes or putative operons to be the direct targets of CRP, and thus they constitute the minimal CRP regulon in Y. pestis. Subsequent primer extension and DNase I footprinting assays mapped transcriptional start sites, core promoter elements, and CRP binding sites within the DNA regions upstream of pla and pst, revealing positive and direct control of these two laterally acquired plasmid genes by CRP. The crp disruption affected both in vitro and in vivo growth of the mutant and led to a >15,000-fold loss of virulence after subcutaneous infection but a <40-fold increase in the 50% lethal dose by intravenous inoculation. Therefore, CRP is required for the virulence of Y. pestis and, particularly, is more important for infection by subcutaneous inoculation. It can further be concluded that the reduced in vivo growth phenotype of the crp mutant should contribute, at least partially, to its attenuation of virulence by both routes of infection. Consistent with a previous study of Y. pestis bv. medievalis, lacZ reporter fusion analysis indicated that the crp deletion resulted in the almost absolute loss of pla promoter activity. The plasminogen activator encoded by pla was previously shown to specifically promote Y. pestis dissemination from peripheral infection routes (subcutaneous infection [flea bite] or inhalation). The above evidence supports the notion that in addition to the reduced in vivo growth phenotype, the defect of pla expression in the crp mutant will greatly contribute to the huge loss of virulence of this mutant strain in subcutaneous infection.

  Wireless sensor networks (WSN) is an energy limited system, thus this study presents an energy-aware quality of service (QoS) routing algorithm for it, which can also run efficiently with best-effort traffic. Furthermore, our work differs from existing algorithms in two ways: (1) We improve the first order energy consumption model with dynamic clustering; (2) We use clustering to build the multi-objectives programming model to support QoS. Simulations and comparisons with some typical route algorithms show that our algorithm is robust and effective.

  This study presents a novel initial frame synchronization scheme of TD-SCDMA system. This algorithm uses the implicit power transition in the special frame structure and introduces a different power ratio detector comparing with the conventional non-coherent algorithms, which makes it less complicated and more reliable. We verify our algorithm by computer simulations and the results show a good and robust performance in a wide range of signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs).

  In this study, we propose a novel estimator under the time-varying multi-path channel and with its performance robust to Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). This estimator is derived with the help of noise influence analysis and realized through the iterative process. We verify our algorithm by computer simulations and observe a great performance improvement in a wide range of velocities and SNRs.

  With regard to the problem of declining of road surface image quality in high-speed processing, the grey entropy is applied to the road surface image enhancement to lay a good foundation for the automatic detection of cracks. We use the grey entropy of the texture of the local area in the road surface image to characterize the scale of the increase or decrease in the process of image local contrast enhancement and fine-tune the local contrast function for that we could effectively maintain the smooth region relatively smooth while enhancing the contrast of the image edge region. Finally, simulation results show that the algorithm is more effective to improve the quality of pavement crack image than other traditional algorithms and it is a good algorithm.

  To improve the low efficiency in the flight simulator evaluation management, the flight simulator management information system is developed by using Web technology based on Browser/server architecture. The overall design of the management information systems for flight simulator is developed based on the needs of users. The ASP and SQL Server database technology which is compatible with Microsoft platform is adopted to achieve the performance requirements of the flight simulator management information systems. The system is tested by using the existing system hardware and software and the correctness and operability of the system are validated with the actual project. The flight simulator management information system not only improves the operational efficiency of the simulator evaluation, but also provides reference of information construction for domestic airlines company's training center.

  This study attempts to explain how a manufacturer's attitudinal commitment and a distributor's two dimensions of trust have an impact on the transferring of market knowledge from the distributor in a channel relationship. Using data from 225 paired distributors and manufacturers in the Chinese household appliances entity, six of our eight research hypotheses were supported. Results of the study show that both a manufacture’s loyalty commitment and a distributor's goodwill trust directly promote market knowledge transfer. Furthermore, calculative commitment is negatively related to the distributor’s goodwill and competence trust; loyalty commitment is positively related to the distributor=s goodwill and competence trust. The study thus points out the distinct roles of attitudinal commitment and trust in market knowledge transfer and the insightful impacts of calculative and loyalty commitment on goodwill and competence trust. These findings provide new theoretical thinking about channel relationship management and the business practices of manufacturers.

  This study models the aero-engine health assessment problem as a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem and proposes a two-step evaluation model, combining the technique of fuzzy AHP (fuzzy analytic hierarchy process) and TOPSIS (technique for order performance by similarity to idea solution). This study applies the fuzzy AHP method to determine relative weights of multiple evaluation criteria and synthesize the ratings of candidate aero-engines. Aggregated the evaluator’s attitude toward preference, then TOPSIS is employed to obtain a crisp overall performance value for each alternative to make a final decision. To illustrate how the approach is used for the aero-engine health assessment problem, an empirical study of a real case involving eleven evaluation criteria and ten initial commercial aero-engines of Air China is conducted. The case study demonstrates the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed evaluation procedure.
