  This paper mainly deals with the optimal control of an accompanying satellite (AS) rotating around the space station (SS). The concept of AS around the SS is introduced. Both the AS and the SS are modeled as rigid bodies with the reference coordinate frames described for the AS pointing to the SS according to different missions. Then the paper designs an optimal control law with the full set of nonlinear equations of motion derived by using unit quaternion. These equations are solved numerically using direct transcription method to obtain optimal solution for the underactuated satellite. The analytical and simulation results show that the proposed control law is effective in the case of failed actuators.

  Proteomics is an important supplement for genomics research, every process of life is controlled by interactions between proteins. Proteomics is an objective, complicated, interlaced and precision controlled response network and is widely used in the study of animal development, physiological ecology and diseases, etc. Systems biology is used to sort and integrate these research results, furthermore explain the phenomenon of life at the protein level. This requires researchers of genetics, chemistry, biology, cell biology, engineering, mathematics, informatics and multi-disciplinary to make efforts collectively. In this study, researchers review the current status of proteomic technologies, discuss the research on proteomics in bovine and the development prospect of proteomics.

  In the world wide, it is very common that calves feed Total Mixed Rations (TMR). In this study, researchers want to evaluate TMR feed plus early weaned whether it is one kind of burden to the calves’ digestive function. Thirty nine Holstein bull calves were randomly assigned to 3 groups: Early-Weaned (EW), Low Quantity Milk (LQM) and High Quantity Milk (HQM) to evaluate the effect of diets on the calves’ grow and rumen function. The calves were slaughtered at the 0, 7, 30, 60 and 90 days in each group. The activity of protease among the three groups increased with calves’ growth and activity in EW and LQW did not differ was lower than that in HQM. pH of ruminal fluid in HQW was lower than that in EW and LQM at the 30 and 60 days but did not differ at 7 and 90 days. The calves that were fed without solid feed before 60 days had stunted growth of ruminal papillae length (white colour). This study suggests that it could prevent the ruminal function from formation that calves only intake liquid food before the 60 days. Calves feed TMR and early weaned may stimulated the development of rumen digestion function.

  The diverse biological actions of retinoic acid (RA) are mediated by RA receptors (RARs) and retinoid X receptors (RXRs). Modulation of transcription by RARs/RXRs is achieved through two activation functions, ligand-independent AF-1 and ligand-dependent AF-2, located in the A/B and E domains, respectively. While the coregulatory proteins that interact with the E domain are well studied, the A/B domain-interacting partners and their influence(s) on the function of RARs are poorly understood. Acinus-S’ is an ubiquitous nuclear protein that has been implicated in inducing apoptotic chromatin condensation and regulating mRNA processing. Our data demonstrate that Acinus-S’ can specifically repress ligand-independent and ligand-dependent expression of a DR5 RA response element(RARE)-dependent reporter gene and several endogenous RAR-regulated genes in a dose-dependent and gene-specific manner. Chromatin immunoprecipitation assays show that Acinus-S’ associates with RAREs within the promoters of endogenous genes independent of RA treatment. Furthermore, the C-terminal end of Acinus-S’ and the B domain of RARβ interact independently of ligand, and the C-terminal end of Acinus-S’ is sufficient for the repression of RAR-regulated gene expression. Finally, histone deacetylase activity only partially accounts for the repressive effect of Acinus-S’ on RAR-dependent gene expression. These findings identify Acinus-S’ as a novel RAR-interacting protein that regulates the expression of a subset of RAR-regulated genes through direct binding to the N-terminal B domains of RARs.

  A batch experiment was performed to investigate nonequilibrium adsorption behavior of atrazine (2-chloro-4-ethylami-no-6-isopropylamino-1,3,5-triazine) on a fluvo-aquic soil. The amount of atrazine sorbed increased with increasing adsorption contact periods. For a range of initial atrazine concentrations, the percentage of atrazine sorbed within 24 h ranged from 24% to 77% of the observed total amount sorbed for the longest contact period; when adsorption contact periods were more than 72 h, the deviations in curves fitted using a nonlinear Freundlich equation gradually became less. The op- posite trend was observed for the atrazine concentrations in solution. The effect of adsorption contact periods on atrazine adsorption behavior was evaluated by interpreting the temporal variations in linear and nonlinear Freundlich equation parameters obtained from the phase-distribution relationships. As the adsorption contact period increased, the nonlinear Freundlich capacity coeffcient kf showed a significant linear increase (r2 = 0:9063, P < 0:001). However, a significant negative linear correlation was observed for the nonlinear coeffcient n, a dimensionless parameter (r2 = 0:5666, P < 0:05). Furthermore, the linear distribution coeffcient kd ranged from 0.38 to 1.44 and exhibited a significant linear correlation to the adsorption contact period (r2 = 0:72, P < 0:01). The parameters kf and n obtained from a time-dependent isotherm rather than the distribution coeffcient kd estimated using the linear Freundlich equation were more appropriate to predict the herbicide residue in the field and thus more meaningful for environmental assessment.
