  We consider an aggregation equation in Rd, d≥2, with fractional dissipation: ut+∇⋅(u∇K*u)=−νΛγu, where ν≥00, and K(x)=e−|x|We prove a refined blowup criteria by which the global existence of solutions is controlled by its View the MathML source norm, for any View the MathML source. We prove the finite time blowup of solutions for a general class of nonsymmetric initial data. The argument presented works for both the inviscid case ν=0 and the supercritical case ν>0 and 0<γ<1. Additionally, we present new proofs of blowup which does not use free energy arguments.

  Flaxseed oil is rich in linolenic acid, and being accepted in diet by more and more people. The characteristics of flaxseed oil from two different varieties, namely fibre-flax seed and oil-flax seed, were evaluated. It was shown that fatty acids of flaxseed oil were mainly constituted by linolenic, oleic, linoleic, stearic, and palmitic acids, and the oil-flax seed oil contained more linolenic acid (58.03%) compared with the fibre-flax seed oil (47.37%). The fibre-flax seed oil showed a higher absorbance at 290−800 nm. Thermogravimetric curves showed that the oil-flax seed oil was more stable than the fibre-flax seed oil. Thermal profiles indicated that the fibre-flax seed oil had higher melting peak temperature and larger enthalpy. Rheological studies indicated that the apparent viscosity of the fibre-flax seed oil was higher than that of the oil-flax seed oil. It can be concluded that the oil-flax seed oil is better than the fibre-flax seed oil in terms of edibility.

  An experiment was conducted to study the effects of different doses of chitosan on growth and serum parameters in dairy calves. A total of 20 and 10 days old dairy calves were randomly allotted to four dietary treatments. The experiment period were 30 days. The control dairy calves were fed the basal diet alone, the other treatments fed the basal diet supplemented with 200, 400, 600 mg day-1 Chitosan (CHS), respectively. In the blood serum biochemistry target aspect, the total cholesterol content significantly decreased for the 600 mg day-1 Chitosan (CHS) (p<0.05). In 20th and 30th, high density lipoprotein content significantly decreased for the 600 mg day-1 Chitosan (CHS) (p<0.05).

  Since, the world climate conference in Copenhagen 2009, low carbon has become the mainstream of the society. Low carbon gets trendy in the area of home electronics and the carbon emission calculation and evaluation draws attention from the home electronics enterprises that have already accumulated some knowledge on this issue. In this study, the carbon emission is assessed from the view of life cycle, consisting of both the direct emission and the indirect emission. Analysis of carbon footprint calculation results demonstrate that our method can help to make home electronics to be truly low carbon, conserve energy and reduce carbon emission, creating greater benefit for the enterprises and the society.

  Much attention has been payed to tree shrews for their close phylogenetic relationship with primates, small size, and short reproductive cycle. Especially, they are considered as excellent experiential animals for medicine or/and disease research. A nucleotide sequence encoding neuropeptide Y(NPY) precursor has been cloned from the cDNA library of Tupaia belangeri chinensis. Sequence alignment revealed that the sequence homology with primate NPY was up to 96.9%. The phylogenetic analysis based on NPY precursor sequence revealed that the tree shrew has a close relationship with primates.
