  MgO thin film was deposited on a siliconglass substrate using home built spray pyrolysis method at 230°C. Aqueous solution of 50 mL containing magnesium chloride hexahydrate was sprayed as a fine mist at a pressure of 2 kg cm-2 with a flow rate of 3 mL min-1 on a preheated glass substrate. The optical property, structural property and surface morphology of the film was analyzed without any post annealing and those properties were studied by photoluminescence spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-VIS spectrophotometer, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM) and the obtained results were discussed.

  In this study, the undoped MnO2 was deposited using spray pyrolysis technique. The manganese (II) acetate tetra hydrate was taken as 0.1M. The film was then annealed at 450°C for 5 h to obtain crystalline peak. The XRD result for the undoped MnO2 film shows (110) plane peak with maximum intensity. Optical property shows an increase in transmittance for annealed film and band gap was found to be 2.4 eV. The Electrical property indicates the semiconducting nature of the film. The ZnMn2O4 film was obtained from aqueous solution manganese (II) acetate tetra hydrate and Zinc acetate dihydrate salt of 0.01:0.01 molar concentration. After annealing the film at 450°C for 5 h, the crystalline peak was observed. The XRD results of ZnMn2O4 film shows crystalline peaks of (211) and (111) plane. The optical properties shows an increase in transmittance than MnO2 film. The structural, electrical and morphology properties of the film as a function of annealing temperature were analysed and reported.

  Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are one of the most common threats to the internet. However, the unreliable communication is made through Routing System that formulates to trace the source of these attacks makes very tough. In IPv6, finding worms in UDP is not an easier task. Researchers propose a UDP worm detection technique in IPv6 which basically uses the entropy variations between regular flow and DDoS attacks. This is primarily different from commonly used packet evaluation techniques. In comparison to the existing DDoS entropy techniques, the proposed approach obtain a number of advantages it specially handles the UDP communication traffic, efficiently scalable, strong and not in favour of packet attack and free from attack traffic prototype. The investigational and model results are obtained to express the value and competence of the proposed method.

  In the present study, thin film heterojunction based on n-CdO/p-NiO was fabricated on glass substrate by home built spray pyrolysis technique under optimized condition. Cadmium acetate dihydrate and Nickel chloride were used as precursors. Structural, surface morphology, optical and photovoltaic properties were analyzed and reported.

  Thin film of spinel ferrite has wide range of application such as magnetic sensor, reading head for magnetic recording media, switch mode power supplies, deflection yoke rings and spintronics devices. These wide applications are due to its high permeability, large resistivity, relatively high magnetization and low coercivity. In the present study spinel ZnFe2O4 with good adhesion on glass substrate have been prepared using home built spray pyrolysis unit from mixed zinc and iron nitrates of 1:2 M aqueous solutions. Photograph of the prepared film shows that as film thickness increases, the color of the film changes from golden yellow to red-brown and is due to increase in grain size. X-ray line broadening technique was adopted to obtain grain size and microstrain. It was observed that the surface morphology and optical transmittance strongly depends on film thickness. Band gap of the film varies from 2.08 to 2.70 eV as film thickness decreases. The effect of film thickness on crystalline nature, surface morphology and optical properties were analyzed and reported.

  Cadmium oxide is the very crucial material in the field of solar cells, optoelectronic devices, flat panel displays due to its high transparency and narrow band gap. In this study, Mg doped CdO thin films were prepared using the home made spray pyrolysis unit and its structural and electrical properties were studied. The XRD results show that the grain size decreases upon increasing the dopant concentration from its broadened peak. Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) analysis indicates that the roughness of the surface decreases upon increasing Mg concentration. The activation energy, I-V characteristics were studied using Four probe method. The results were analyzed for three different concentration of Mg doped CdO films and are reported.

  ZnS thin films on glass substrate have been prepared by home built spray pyrolysis technique at 220, 250 and 280°C. Aqueous solution of 50 mL containing zinc acetate dihydrate and thiourea salts of 1:1 M is sprayed as fine mist at a pressure of 2 kg cm-2 with flow rate of 3 mL min-1 on preheated glass substrate. Film obtained at 220°C found to be amorphous and polycrystalline at 250 and 280°C with preferential orientation along (111) plane. X-ray line broadening technique is utilized to determine the grain size and microstrain of the ZnS film. Compositional studies indicate the presence of oxygen for the film prepared at 250°C. The effect of substrate temperature on crystalline structure, surface morphology and composition were analyzed and reported.
