  Inhibitor for mild steel derived from carbethoxythiazole namely 2-amino-4-methyl-5-carbethoxythiazole was synthesized and the chemical structure was elucidating by fourier transform in frared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopies. The inhibition efficiency for 2-amino-4-methyl-5-carbethoxythiazole to inhibit the damage effects for mild steel of corrosion in 1 M hydrochloric acid solution was figured and was 82.5% regarding to weight loss technique. Scanning electron microscopy was used as a confirmation of ability of 2-Amino-4-Methy l-5-Carbethoxythiazole (AMC) to inhibit the corrosion of specimens of mild steel surface. The standard free energy of adsorption and adsorption equilibrium constant were calculated and the adsorption of 2-amino-4-methy l-5-carbethoxythiazole on surface of mild steel was obey adsorption isotherm of Langmuir. To proof the methodological findings, density function theory at the B3LYP/6-311+G** level of theory was used to calculate highest occupied with lowest unoccupied molecular orbitals energies and dipole moment.

  The research included the study of the spectral properties of Rhodamine C dissolved in 1-butanol in different concentrations (7*10–6, 1*10–5, 3*10–5, 5*10–5, 7*10–5 mol/L) at ambient temperature and studies its nonlinear properties with the calculation of some parameter like "Nonlinear refractive index" and the "Nonlinear absorption coefficient" in addition to select one of these concentrations (7*10–6 mol/L) to study the effect of changing the pinhole diameter on some of these parameter.

  This study aimed to determinate the antibacterial activity and cytotoxic effects (Fe3O4 NPs). Antimicrobial activity against pathogenic microbes which obviously indicates that Fe3O4 NPs are considered an valuable antimicrobial agents. The (G +ve bacteria) S. aureus were more susceptible to iron oxide nanoparticles when compared to the E. coli and P. aeruginosa (G -ve bacteria). Results indicate that inhibitory activity of iron oxide nanoparticles increases with increase of the Fe3O4 NPs concentrations. Fe3O4 NPs was not effect on every cells but through an suitable magnetic field of iron oxide as for the detection of the toxicity of nanoparticles it was observed that it had toxicity to red blood cells through the complete haemolysis. The current study concluded the Fe3O4 NPs can effects on the inflammatory response that which cause the oxidative stress and may negatively affect the cellular function and Fe3O4 NPs in high concentrations have a hemagglutinated.

  An overview of high Refractive Index (RI), high abbe number (low dispersion) (νd) and high transmissivity optical plastics improved and used to get a perfect Contact Lens (CL) material and design, this review gathers optical plastics developments to choose the desired polymer in Cls applications. High performance CLs can be made of polymers with high transparency nanocomposites because of the need for optical plastic merits such as light weight, transparency, biocompatibility, the ability to modify its refractive index and Abbe number. Doping with nano-particles can be considered as a good candidate in CLs fabrication due to its rule in increasing the RI, νd and light transmittance higher. This study shows the evolution of polymer properties used in optical applications and focuses on RI, νd and transparency of the optical plastics that can be employed in the CLs fabrication or enhancement of them.
