Abstract: A survey on atmospheric fungi of Karachi city was performed during the years 1998 and 1999.A total
number of 53 species belonging to 21 genera of fungi was recorded. During the entire study, seasonal variation
was found to be related with atmospheric temperature and relative humidity, especially. An increase in
temperature and relative humidity of the atmosphere resulted in increased number of mycoflora, qualitatively
and quantitatively.
