Abstract: Patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) often have mixed dyslipidemia and are at high risk for cardiovascular (CV) disease. Although the use of statin therapy may optimize low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), adding a fibrate to statin therapy may further improve lipid parameters.
