Abstract
Main steam of the power plant is typical great inertial and long-time delay component. The dynamic characteristic of main steam temperature is greatly changed when load of the boiler varies. Traditional Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control and fixed model predictive functional control neither cant get satisfying control effect such as lower control precision, higher fluctuation of temperature and so on. In this study, the multi-model predictive functional control is proposed for weakening the effect of the great inertial and long-time delay and enhancing control precision of main steam temperature. Simulation experiments with different loads shows that the proposed method is better than the traditional PID control and fixed model predictive functional control.
