MPLS Based Adaptive Concurrent Multipath Packet Dispersion Architecture for VoIP Networks

Abstract:
Convergence of voice and data services into a single IP network introduces new complex challenges in the network QoS research community. Transmission of voice in IP network has to meet stringent requirements on bandwidth, packet delay and throughput. To improve the QoS, (MPLS) Multiprotocol Label Switching as per Adaptive Concurrent Multipath Packet Dispersion Architecture pro VoIP Networks is proposed. The proposed system categorises to VoIP, Non VoIP flows using probing techniques. Later, they get routed via multiple path. The non VoIP data flows are routed using SCTP’s concurrent multihoming feature that simultaneously transfers the data across multiple end to end paths to the receiver. Analytical upshots report this study benefits using Ns-2 simulator.
