Dr.Shripad Kulkarni Reply
Although lot of work has been done with respect to fungal and bacterial bioagents and entomopathogenic fungi only little has reached farmers. Hence,i request concerned scientist to develop production technology also so that it reaches end users

At the outset I would like to emphasize that authorites who are involved in appoving projects in biocontrol of fungal pathogens should have atleast basic experience in the field. They should also know what is difference between a biotrophic and necrotrophic pathogen and significance of the proposal. When people at high level not recogniging outcome and importance of the proposal and biased while granting funds it is highly impossible to develop sustainable biocontrol strategies.
