Non-singleton Fuzzy Logic Control of a DC Motor

Abstract:
In this study, a new control scheme was described for the robust speed control of a DC motor under parameter variations and external disturbances. Non-singleton fuzzification were used in the proposed fuzzy control scheme. The control performance is tested under inertial and frictional variations and an external load torque. In order to show the effectiveness of the proposed control approach, simulation results of the singleton and non-singleton fuzzy control systems are presented together.
