Redescription of Macrophthalmus (Ventius) latreillei Desmarest, 1822 with a Note on its Identification

Abstract: The species Macrophthalmus (Ventius) latreillei (Desmarest, 1822) is described from the Northern Arabian Sea. The species is widespread in the Indian Ocean. Where it is probably endemic. It is described and illustrated for the first time from Pakistan.
