Abstract: This study was conducted to test the effect of Tagetes patula and Commicarppus boissieri on egg hatching of Meloidogyne javanica. Crude extract of these plants demonstrated toxic effect inhibit larval hatch to a varying degree and comparison of the results showed that C. boissieri possess a high nematicidal activity as compared to T. patula. On the other hand the flowers of T. patula have more nematicidal components as compared to the leaves and roots. C. boissieri and crude extract of flower of T. patula at 1mg/ml resulted in 32.81 and 32.53 percent permanent inhibition in egg hatching respectively.
