Review of Large-Scale RDF Data Processing in MapReduce
Ke Hou, Jing Zhang and Xing Fang

Abstract: Resource Description Framework (RDF) is an important data presenting standard of semantic web and how to process, the increasing RDF data is a key problem for development of semantic web. MapReduce is a widely-used parallel programming model which can provide a solution to large-scale RDF data processing. This study reviews the recent literatures on RDF data processing in MapReduce framework in aspects of the forward-chaining reasoning, the simple querying and the storage mode determined by the related querying method. Finally, it is proposed that the future research direction of RDF data processing should aim at the scalable, increasing and complex RDF data query.
